How to design a packaging box
We have a team of 15+ excellent designers who can provide you with a one-stop solution for customized packaging box design and a full set of realistic 3D rendering solutions. In each project, we will work closely with you to transform your concept into a product that exceeds your expectations.
Identify the customer group: First, explain your customer profile, which type of people you are targeting, whether it is low-end, mid-end, or high-end.
Determine the type and size of the packaging box and the size specifications of the packaged product. Packaging box type: child-proof packaging box, drawer box, top and bottom cover box, magnet flip box, special-shaped box, folding box, cylinder box, corrugated box, etc.
Determine whether the packaging box needs to have special functions, such as designing a special child-proof safety opening method on the electronic cigarette packaging box to prevent children from accidentally contacting the product in the box.
5. Determine the design details: including packaging box structure, appearance, function, selection of environmentally friendly and sustainable development materials, etc.
Other requirements: packaging box appearance printing color, pattern, LOGO, surface finishing process: hot stamping, UV and embossing, etc., box surface coating: touch film, matte film, glossy film, etc.
① Select an excellent design team to design products that meet the needs of different consumers according to their age, gender, consumption habits and aesthetic preferences, such as high-end luxury, fashion trends, practical economy, etc., covering child resistant packaging, e-cigarettes, CBD, marijuana and other categories.
② Provide the product type and box type you need (such as pictures, design documents). If you don’t have a picture effect, you can use text descriptions and sketches to tell us your ideas, and we will help you design the box type according to your concept ideas.
③ Provide the box size you need, such as "length x width x height
④ We will design the knife line diagram according to the box type and size you provide.
⑤ Provide the printing color, pattern, and LOGO (such as AI files, PDF vector graphics) of the customized packaging box you need. We will design these contents on the die-cutting line diagram and confirm the box effect for you.
⑥ Select the surface coating effect of the box: such as touch film, matte film, glossy film
⑦ Other needs: surface finishing process: hot stamping, color hot stamping, UV and embossing, etc.
